after reading a recent post from leaky about wanting to head up to pineview but unsure about the bass bite i figured i would giver a go... being as how its less than a few minutes away!!
i took my lil sister and her puppy and hit the south side of cemetery midway down the south arm... i was skeptical due to the recent weather and the massive power squad on the lake and i was banking it today.... but the bass fishing was hot hot HOT!!! suprisingly enough it was a fish every few casts!! i probably caught around 25 or 30!
most bass were around 10 to 13 inches with a few smaller and up too 15 inches all caught on gulp minnows in smelt color on 1/8 oz heads...
my little sister managed over 50 perch two MASSIVE gills 10 and 11 inches! 5 bass and a carp... they were caught on and ultra light setup with a tandem rigged black and chartruse tube on top and a white and chartruse curly tail on bottom 2ft under a bobber tipped with crawler... she had a ball.. it was even funnier to watch her lil dog run off with her perch!!! lol
fished for tigers for an hour or so.. not much goin on with that.. although i did have a little tiger in the two foot range cartwheel out of the water and totally miss my big zara spook... other than that no toothys...

] and to answer another question yea i was swimming and hopping them on or near the bottom .. those minnows have awesome action fished on the right head.
