Spur has been dubbed Sir Scrapealot!!!!!!!!!! It was on guys and gals!! Spur, Hunter, and I headed out on our grabbling adventure yesterday morn with a sparkle of hope in our eyes and a flame in our heart to be able to get Spur his first faltty of the 09 grabbling season!!! It was a look and find trip but boy did we land some fine fish troughout the day and even got a a lesson in marine engine repair!!!! We started the day with a fiesty channel that turned my hand into swiss cheese and left my thumbnail a nice purlpe tatoo to show and tell about. Next I ventured into a cavernous hole and we landed a nice 26lb flatty. We ventured on our way to the next hole and what a surprise we found there!!! IT WAS A CAVE!!!! We made every effort possible to get the monster below turned our way and into our grasps. We needed a rod a bit longer so we sent Spur back to the boat to get our longer rod and unfortunately as he was gone I managed to get the beast from the hole!!! It was our bg fish of the day weighing in @ 36 lbs. All Iknow is that the next spot had to have some fishies that were hungry for toe jam as soon as we each located a hole on each side of the slab I exclaimed "He bit my toe!!!" Then immediately I hear a scqueel from Spur!!!emoEek He bit my toe!!!! LOL!!!! I ran my hand in for a unmistakeable surprise!!!! A 19lb. blue cranking on my fingers!!! emoEek On the next hole Spur's day finally came and he landed his first flatty solo!!! What a blast to see his face light up and that stretch from one side to another!!! It was a beautiful 27 lber that gave him some extensive arm rash!!! He also landed himself another 16lb to wrap up the spot!!! Hunter also got himself broke in just right on a nice 10lb. blue!!! It was awesome to hear him scream it's on the rod!!!!! The bits was on severla times yesterday and several fishies managed to slip through our hands!!! I also got a nice few extra moments of training when we managed to get stranded a bit for a few electrical issues!!! LOL!!! I now see how the luck of the Spur is evident!!!! LOL!!!! emoBang Allin all we had an awesome day and I believe our final total was 8 fish weighing in @ 141lbs. Enjoy the pics!!!! Vids up soon!!!
