Greetings,
I will be taking my family on a short backpacking/fishing trip in the Uintas this weekend and I am looking for some advice. My challenge is that I will be taking my two daughters (ages 2 and 4) with me. I would like to hike into a lake that is no longer that 1 to 1.5 miles from the trailhead and does not have much elevation gain. I would like to stay in the Mirror Lake Highway area, but would be open to other possibilities. I am looking at the possibility of starting at Trial or Washington Lake and hiking into Haystack or Shadow lake. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please respond to this post or PM me throught the site.
Thanks in advance!
