was wondering if anyone has actually fished little camas this year? I know typically that IDFG stocks it with planter rainbows but didnt do that this year so is there even still fish in it after last years salvage/winter kill? Anybody else know where one could go to catch some yummy trout? thanks in advance for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's salvage again last I heard. I would be surprised if there is much left in there. Man I use to love that place too. Fat, health bows with a good fight in them. Indian Creek res is another one I miss. The bass and blue gill fishing was awesome and only minutes from Boise. Sorry, back to your question. I guess in that area I would try Anderson res. if your wanting to catch some bows in a lake. Haven't heard much about it lately but it is always good for a trout. You may want to consider stream fishing. The streams are fishing great this time of year and those trout taste the best!!!

Grab a map and a set of regs and head for the S. Fork of the Boise above Anderson Ranch. The river or any of the creeks in the area should be fishing good. Flies, spinners, hoppers, worms or eggs should all do the job. Pay attention to the regs because different areas have different rules/limits. Good luck!

Shouldn't the Kokanee be running soon in the SF?
