MY FRIEND AND I WEN'T TO THE PUMPHOUSE LAST WEEK . ARRIVED AROUND SUNRISE. WE THREW OUT SPINNERS, SMALL JIGS, LITTLE CRANKS, AND GOT NOTHING .SO MY FRIEND DECIDED TO USE A GULP MINNOW ON A 1/8 OZ JIG HEAD AND WHACK!!! GOT A 2# LARGEMOUTH . THEN 2 MORE CAST 2 MORE FISH. HELL I'M NOT TO PROUD TO BEG SO I ASKED HIM FOR ONE AND MY FIRST CAST I CAUGHT MY FIRST WHITEBASS OF THE DAY . CAUGHT AROUND 50 IN A COUPLE HOURS. SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH NO ONE WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME. BUT MY QUESTION IS ... DID WE JUST HIT A SMALL SCHOOL OR DO GULP MINNOWS WORK THAT GOOD AND IF SO WHAT OTHER FISH WOULD YOU FISH WITH THE MINNOWS. AND CAN YOU DIP OTHER LURES AND JIGS IN THAT LIQUID
WOULD LIKE TO HERE FEEDBACK AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCE BEFORE I GO BY SOME

I have been telling about how good the gulp works for years, I have used them and caught about any type of fresh water fish that swims and a few salt water as well...

I drop shot them, I was using them to day at Jordanelle...(see post)

Yes they do work....[Wink]

Yes those Gulp Minnows are the real deal. I have tried to dip other plastic jigs in that liquid but it is just like any other type of add on scent, it wares off after a while but it does help. The last time I used the gulp minnows we were fishing with jigs and minnows at the Berry and it was the best catching I have had there in years. You are right about them being EXPENSIVE but I guess no more so than lures like Lucky Craft and they work great also. By the way, what is up with the caps in your post[:/]?
