Got to the lake about 7:15 or so and yes it was raining...
After I parked the truck and headed for the closest point and was on fish right off, the harder it rained the better the bite...
I tried to use two poles but just too many fish all at the same time...I got many doubles and on one set of doubles I got an 20 1/4" bass and a 18" , they was in 10' to 25' of water in one place they would be out deeper like 20' to 25' and the next spot they would be in 10'...
When the rain stopped the bass seemed to move deeper, on one of the times it stopped raining I got a hookup in 25' to 30' it felt like a trout bite but when hooked up it headed for deeper water pulling drag
I tried to follow and put to much stop on the reel and broke it off, when I hooked that fish up I knew I should have retied sense I had already caught over 15 bass sense I had tied last I had 6# test on..
The rain was warm and with very few skiers and just a little breeze at times I stayed till 2:00 or so...
Not sure how many bass, but I lost count of bass over 12" at 25 and I was getting about 3 under 12" for each one over...Some times it just pays to fish in the rain..
