Anyone had any luck or know how fishing has been from the bank up at the berry? Last year i fished it around this time and was doing pretty good, just wondering if anyone had a chance yet to see what there was.

We fished from a boat yesterday and did very well. But we where with in casting distance from the shore. We where fishing in only 15 to 20 feet of water.

I haven't been there in a while, but historically the ledges by the ladders is usually pretty good at this time of year, but can be really crowded. Get there early and space out your chairs so you don't get crowded out. A lot of people also like the Soldier Creek side of the lake since it drops off so fast. I've never really fished that side.
You should have better luck than the past couple of years as it sounds like the rainbow population is increasing, and they like to stay closer to shore than the cutthroat do.
