Just a short report. Went to our normal area with rhe tube, and absolutely no one else there, it was warm, and calm. Thought this is a great start. let's see how it works out. [fishin] Well. --------------, it was great. I was targeting the LM with a bigger presentation, drop shoting a 3" reaper, and ended up catching, guessing, 15LM guys and 1 perch that got himself hooked on my reaper. Largest was probably about 13" with most being between 10-12". Got there about 10:30 and left about 4:00.Took home a couple under 12" guys for supper as usual.. YUM. [Smile][Smile]

I edited my post. Think I may have exaggerated a weee bit. Better to error on the conservative side. [Wink]

No worries my friend. Where I live anything over 5 LMB
is a WAY GREAT day[Smile]. Come to think of it , I dont
think I ever caught more then four. Also I fly fish for LMB
which is a little more of a challenge sometimes.
Hey, how about some pictures one of this days. That
would be great[Wink]

I really would like to take some pics. but after ruining one digital by accidentally dropping it in the water in my lap in the tube, I just don't take it with me anymore.

I broke down and bought one of these AFTER loosing my favorite camera.
They really work and the pictures are very clear. Can't tell it is through plastic.

look at that !!! I did not even know that there is such
a thing.[blush]

Thanks young fisher lady, I'll look into it. Trouble is, if I bought one I wouldn't have any excuses now would I? [Wink] What do I do in a tube, the Sparkinator swimming around and getting into my line, and just being a klutz?

Head camera on Sparkinator. I bet he watches your every move. It would be like..."let's go fishing with Leaky" Might even get to lick your face![laugh]
[signature]
Yeah! That would be cool to see "the veiw from the dog's eyes..."[Smile]
They did one on a deer and it was kinda cool to see what the deer sees....

Oh yes, camera on Sparkinator would be cool.[Smile]

OK. What happens when he dives under the water out there by me trying to get the fish I release? Underwater fish pic.a with Sparky'a open mouth like "jaws". Wouldn't it be cool to see Sparky going after a 44" Tiger Musky? [shocked] Yes, he would even try to catch that. [:/] He's allready chased a 33" guy that I hooked while smallie fishun. Would Fly Goddess's "baggies" protect the camera from even that? Of course I'd have to edit the pic.s when I go to shore to take a wizzzzz or other unmentionables. [laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh] He could even be used as a fish cop showing poaching evidence of quantity and size restrictions when he visits others. Trouble is he very seldom visits and never bothers others.[unimpressed]

Ha hahaah ha thats some funny stuff Leaky [Smile]
Sound like you and Sparky are having some good
times . That is very cool.
Just so you know= I use my $250 camera (thats how much it was 3 years ago) in my float tube and no problem
for now. I do put the little camera strap around my wrist
just in case. Then it goes into the water proof hard case ($12 wallmart ) in the left pocket and all good.
I know that this days you can buy good digital camera
for few bucks. And it is very nice to have pictures to show
your friends and family or even for your self.

Great report Fred - keep up the good work!

Peter805 has it right when he suggested putting the camer strap on your wrist. I haven't lost a camera yet, but seems I have salted the bottom with hemostadts, scissors ,shot, a few jigs and most recently, a custom 8 1/2' hybrid spinning rod and reel.( I'm still dragging for it when I have time.)
There have been a couple times the camera has slipped, but the wrist straP saves it. Illinoisgiller

Ouch !!! Keep dragging for it . I know that I would. Also
there are big magnets you can use. I was thinking
about getting one of those big magnets just to
see what I can find under water. You know just for fun.
