This a little late but I haven't had much time until now. I went and fished Fish lake on Saturday with some friends. We rented a boat from the marina and were looking forward to some good fishing. We only managed however to catch some small planter rainbows and perch. We never could get the anchor to hold so jig fishing was pretty difficult. We trolled a lot but didn't have much luck. It was a gorgeous day to be out on the lake and I think if I went again I would make sure I could anchor the boat down and do some jigging. It's a beautiful lake and I'll be back but maybe not until there is ice.

did you fish the weedline ? you can anchor by the weedline and then when you move out about 40 feet out thats if the wind isnt blowing you inshore.

We looked for you to see how you were doing but couldn't find you. Ya those anchors suck I think I'll bring my own next time.
