Congrats!!! I believe our old moderator BrianID holds the record right now. Steelfisher caught one last winter at Henrys that would have broken the record but did not want to claim it.
So how about that BFT members fighting it out for the state chub record.[crazy][

Someone (can't remember whom) told me that Henry's didn't have any minnows in it. Obviously, they didn't know what they were talking about. Does it also have other minnows?

No record here. I went on to the F&G web page to see if there was a more up to date record. Jacob is 1 ounce short. No record for him. One thing though, the spot where he got that one is lousy with those things. We have got several that were big so he is going to try again. Ron

Henrys has plenty of chubs. Right now they don't seem to be too out of hand. I don't know of any other minnow species in Henrys.
While the fish at Henrys will eat a minnow now and then the majority of their food is in the form of leeches, nymphs, and scuds. There is no need for the fish to expend energy chasing minnows when they have a smorgusborg of easy prey in front of them.

Been seeing a big increase of those the last year some of them getting quite large. most of the people who fish of the bridge by snake river sports are catching some whoppers
