Summer is winding down and kids are back in school. This means one thing in Pensacola, the fishing is about to get red hot! With lot's of rainfall along the panhandle this summer most of the fish have been pushed out of the upper bay systems and are residing in the ICW because of more salinity in the water.

On this particular trip I guided Eddie and his friend in Santa Rosa sound to Search for some Pensacola, reds and trout. We fished 6 foot drop offs about 200yards from shore. My clients, who were wonderful fisherman by the way, managed to boat 35 trout and 6 slot reds on a 4 hour mid day inshore trip. Not bad for a mid day Excursion! Most of our reds were from 22 to 26in with some nice 24in gator trout mixed in.

It won't be long before the bull red run! Keep in tuned to my reports!

thanks
