We headed down to Powell on Wednesday and was on the water and heading south by 4:00...

CBR and myself planed to stay till Sunday but had to cut it short...

When we headed south the water was great, a few clouds in the sky with a slite breeze here and their on the lake...

We was going down around the sand juan area main lake.. We set up camp and started fishing..

We was on fish right off LM bass and SM bass and lots of them but no stripers this night...

The next morning we found a few stripers that would coming up in 30' of water.. We hooked a few I think 6 or 8 then they stopped, it seemed to us that the stripers would stop jumping when they had some boat motor go by...

We headed home when the wind came up on saturday + the boat trolling batters went dead...

Bummer to hear about the batteries going dead. From the pics it looked like the perfect trip to Powell to me.

You should try using your photo gallery, just click on your user name and click on your gallery,

no size limits on the photos, and you can make albums for each trip you make. or genneral albums and add photos to it any time you want, even years later...

by the way great photos

me and a few friends went to northern lower michigan for a little alantic king salmon fishing, and while we were there the world record brown trout was broken. I got to see the trout up close and in person, and get this, dead batteries in both of my cameras. [pirate] worse yet no one in town had batteries my size.. it took a cople days in another town before I found some, click here to see some of the photos from my trip.

The first 12 photos in this album are from my trip last week. [Image: DSCN1315.JPG]

Thanks but I don't keep most of the pictures, just post and delete unless it looks great....

looks like a fun trip. Sounds like you might need to obtain a generator for those extended lake powell trips. They work great for keeping the batteries charged.[cool]

We had one, it ran great just did not put out any juice...

The fishing was great I would like to stay longer, but will be heading back down in Oct...

The water is warm and the stripers are deep for now, water was 79 in the day but at first light was 77....
