Went up on the Henry's Fork near Chester today to try my luck. The sun was out and there was a little breeze but overall very nice. Was working a #7 CD Rapala into some holes. Managed several hits w/ a few on for a few seconds before throwing the hook (crimped the barbs). I did eventually land one brown that was about 18" and FAT! Executed a perfect release as I was reaching for it it rolled and the hook came out. Fish never even left the water =). Got a few more hits but never landed more. Watched 2 other guys land 2 nice browns around the 18" range as well while I was there.
From there took off to hit the Teton River north of Newdale. Worked it for about and hour w/ only one light hit. I did see several large sized fish, one of which I bounced my spinner off it's nose before it took off. At that point I decided I was not likely to get anything to bite and packed it in. Overall, a fair day, but better than sitting around doing nothing!
