This is my first fishing report so here it goes. Hit the lake around 7:15 this morning after draggin my dad and his nyquil drugged head out of bed. Met my girlfriends dad at the ramp at Wolftever and set off. Went to a little hole we thought may be good, and sure enough we caught four keepers in the first hour and a half, which is great for me and my dad cause we've only been bass fishing since april. After those four keepers we caught a few small 12inchers but couldn't land the 5th one. total of 8lbs and some few ounces. All were caught in about five feet of water on a spinnerbait. Water temp was around 80 and the wind was tossin us around a bit. All in a all not a bad day considering its the first time we have fished out of our new boat. We recently traded for the 1997 Norris Craft XLD vee that was at nichols marine, love the boat, a huge upgrade from what we started with. Boat fishes well and runs great. Would love to post pictures but i'm not quite sure how.
