It started slowly as we left MCP in the dim light and carefully trying to avoid trees and branches and jetsom in the river.
We arrived at #2 and in two casts with a pan fish assassin w/ tail light picked up my 4th TARP of the year and my 3rd at this location.

I was very happy and I said we would have a good day. My partner was watching as I caught a few more and then he opened up with a bleeding shad that snagged a 12+ incher and started to fill the live well with quality crappie. About his 3rd or 4th crappie was a mirror of mine and we had YB's TARP in the boat posing for the camera.

We caught 50 or 60 crappie on all manner of BG and PAs but also the bass were hitting us so much they became almost a nuisance. A fun nuisance , but we didn't complain.
We had a great day with about 30 bass and a ton of line stretching crappie.

Temps were from 76 to 78 and we were deep and shallow, but the quality fish were below the little ones.
We did have an incident with one particular bass that proved he was very hungry and crazy, but I think I'll let my partner tell you all about that oneemoUSA

Love the "system" and good fellowship with my partner YB
Here's some pics:
