I have been fishing my "home river" lately for the migratory run of fish it gets and it has been sweet! Last night right at dark I hooked this brown on a size 18 BWO nymph. Big fish that ran like crazy!

I think I know what river you're talking about, (not sure though). That's one heck of a fish!
If it's the same river I'm thinking of, I pulled these two fish out of it in the same morning right before the end of the season a couple of years ago.

All of the above fish are GOOD LOOKING FISH! People can't hardly believe we have fish
like that in Idaho...I won't try to pretend I know for sure where they came out of but
I've caught my share of large fish in our surrounding rivers! NICE WORK !!

Man I sure wish we could have rivered it with you. 8 days on the H beat us old farts up though. I have a bit of night blindness so never been much good at that, but I know, you want big browns, that is the time. Are they spawning yet? I would think more November, but the Brookies seem to be now.
By the way, the fact you are like 7 foot tall, that fish still looks pretty nice.
I still want to adopt you....LOL
