I went into te sportsmans warehouse in Ogden the other day looking to pick up some tips and powder to build a box of bullets for the upcoming deer hunt and I was amazed at the lack of selection they have in supplies. I couldn't find a single box with a matching pound of powder to build 30 cal bullets. I knew that supplies were tight these days, but all I wanted was a simple box of 30 cal 165 grain spitzers and there were none to be had. Does anyone have a better source for supplies right now?

Go to Kent's shooters supply on Washington Blvd,1/2 block south of 2nd street on the west side of the street. Jeff and Randy keep as good a supply of reloading stuff as you will find in the Ogden area right now.

Check Cal Ranch. The store in Tooele is starting to get stocked up again. I was in there two nights ago and they had quite a selection of powders. What powder are you looking for?

IMR 7828 is what I was looking for and I found it at Kent's. I can't believe how limited the stock is on supplies right now. I had a pretty good chat with the guy behind the counter at Sportsmans in Idaho Falls the other day and he said his supplier told me that if no one bought a single package of primers it would still take the manufacturers several months to catch up.

I don't think they had that powder, but I wasn't looking for it. They did have quite a few pistol primers, which hasn't been the case lately. The primers were Remington and I was looking for CCI. But at least there are some available.

I was at the Sportsmans in Midvale when a bunch of supplies came in. The guys at the counter closed off the aisle while they filled the shelves completely. People were standing around on their cel phones calling everyone they knew it seemed. Reminded me of sharks circling a chum slick. When they moved the carts it was a feeding frenzy. I have been told its lightening up but I don't see it.
