I have waited way to long to post this. I got a ODC classic a while back. I have only had one chance to fish out of it. The orange box has my battery, and other small stuff in it. The cooler had ice, food, and bait. I am thinking that the load on the back rack was about 30 to 35 pounds.
I didn't like the way it rode at all. I contacted FG and she gave me some good ideas. Well about a week ago I had the time to try to change it. I moved the frame forward by about 6". The load on the back is almost the same as the day I was fishing. The only difference is a fishing rod. I think the next time I use it I might move it maybe an inch or two farther forward if I plan on a heavy cooler. Here are a couple of pictures of it. Ron

So far so good. I have not had it out all that much. My older yellow ODC sport is the same thing, and it has been good too but we have not used them that much.
These are the first pontoons I have fished from so I don't have a lot of inside tips.
Make sure you slide the frame forward enough to ride level. The back rest of the seat seems to be about where most of the weight sits down on. Make sure that is about center and you should be ok. You can see on mine about were I have it with weight on.
I am planning on doing float trips down the snake river with mine in search of catfish. I can't see why it won't be a good ride. I still have bugs I need to get out of mine. I like about everything but the transducer location. It is not horrable but I am planning on moving it back behind the seat somewhere. When I use fins I find I touch it some times. I LOVE my front rod holder. It works great. If you look back in the threads you will see it. Ron

Hello Ron,

the pictures were a huge help, I see what you mean about adjusting the frame on the pontoons. the second photo shows a very big improvement. I cant wait to get into the water.
