<br /> Wow...what a day! I&#39;m loving this cooler weather and the fact the river just isn&#39;t crowded anymore. Nice and smooth!<br /> I started my day around 5am trying to get everyone up and ready to go out the door. I knew I needed to start early just because its too hard to wake this crew up. By 6:20...we left the house. <br /> Stopped by Soddy Custom tackle to pick up some crappie lures..Yellow and White Tubes and a few more 1/16th jig heads. So glad I did because between Billy Jr and my Brother, I think we donated about 5 pounds of lead to the river system today! Snag and after snag with those too...if it wasn&#39;t that, they were casting over each other and arguing! emoLaugh <br /> Started fishing around 7:45 Hit mainly docks in 3-8 feet of water with the bite coming in about 5 feet. Had to work the dock over pretty good to find them but when you did, you usually picked up a few good slabs. Did fish a few bridges but only getting few takers. <br /> Had a 2 man limit in about 3.5 to 4 hours. (remember, I was fighting the kids all day..LOL) We wanted every person on the boat to have thier limit so we worked until we had the other 15. By 12:00 we were done and ready to head to the house for the cleaning party. That Sucked! No one wants to clean them but they dont mind the free ride, good company, free drinks, free food, and a well full of fish! Ha! Their day is coming were they learn to clean these fish! <br /> Has a blast with the family...laughing the entire time while listening to them argue and fight. emoLaugh <br /> Water temp was any where from 68.5 to 71 today. <br />
