I had so much fun fishing for trout the other day at the river, I went out and bought a new Rod/Reel. Something lighter that I can use just for smaller fish.

The Rod is BPS Tourney Special IM-7. 6'foot, light action. $50. The rod seems nice but I havn't really used it yet. I know the reel is amazing.

I put 200+ yards of 4lb Flourocarbon coated P-line. I have the largest version of this reel, and now I have the second smallest size. These reels are awesome.

I cant wait to go fishing[fishin] with this setup [Smile]. I'm probibly gonna fish barbless next time I go, might just keep one fish.

I had fun Wednesday at the river. The reel/rod is awsome, I can cast 1/8 weight so far. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. I had about 13 clean catch and releases, but two did not make it, so I had to take them home, and cooked them up for dinner.

The water level is so low its crazy, someone said they are trying to kill the weeds allong the bank but Im not sure. The lower water is also slightly affecting the fishing, but you can still catch 10 even on Wednesday and Thursday if you know what you are doing. You catch fish easy after the trout plant on Friday, but later in the week it takes a bit more skills. I noticed you have to time your hook sets better the later you get from the trout plant.

Im gonna head out tomarrow also, Friday is fun.
