Decided to hit it up after work today. Went out and tried a little top water action and caught one on schooling bass. Don't it just make you so frustrated when they boil around you and you can't get a bite. Well then caught a white bass and a striper on a spoon, and a little ol bass on a white spinner bait. These fish were caught mostly in the shallows. Then everything shut down on top-water for the night. I've been trying my hand at crappie fishing to no avail. Decided to hit up a couple spots on the way home. Well within 5 minutes I had supper. One looked to be at least 2-3 lbs and the others were small compared to it. Fried them up and thanks to all for the recipes to cook them with. Would like to thank all of you all that post crappie reports, because they really helped out, especially drumking..
