Visiting the forum just now, I saw a popup ad for Rockport-Fulton on the Texas coast. Made me homesick. While it's not all that good for fishing from a tube or 'toon (tides and sharp oyster shells), if anyone plans to visit the area, I'll be glad to share some wade-fishing secrets.
I used a float to kick across deep channels and reach the famous flats to wade for Reds and Specs, which are fantastic fighting gamefish. You just have to know and thus avoid tide changes.
Psssst! I know a secret place in Redfish Bay, next to Rockport, where you can catch Reds all year long.
