What a cold morning but the fish were ready to eat today.. caught fish all day long Spillgates were open and the flow and the wind was both heavy.. Water temp was 63

Started around 730 in the freezing cold throwing a big 9" Swimbait and a Spro BBZ1 in current breaks at schooling fish and managed a few good fish on them up by the dam.. First time catching fish on a big swimbait not the little plastic ones and i will say they fish will destroy it.. After the morning bite ended headed towards downtown to try to find some cover from the wind.. Fished behind the island and behind the barges and bridges and had a great day flipping a 1/2 black and blue football jig with a gambler ugly otter trailer in slack water.. Caught some really nice spots the biggest one was pushing 3 lbs.. Got my heart racing a few times with drag screaming but ended up being one of the fattest drum i have ever seen and a few ugly catfish in the 8-10 lb range.. Did catch one nice smallie around 17 inches on a DT16 and caught quite a few more spots on a DT10 throwing in current breaks.. Ended up the day with probably 20+ spots 4 largemouth 3 smallies a drum and 2 catfish..
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
This guy been eating good!http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341/JDK1878/cid__downsized_1018091444.jpg
