[#800000]Sorry for the late report. I didn’t have an Internet connection at our condo at Bear Lake and no means to download the pictures from my camera to my PC and then PhotoBuckett. This all took place last week.[/#800000]

[#800000]I met BearLakeFishGuy (BLFG) at 7 AM for breakfast at The Lodge Restaurant in Garden City on 21 Oct. After we ate, we drove around to Cisco Beach, launched the boat, and started fishing. We fished the east side from about 8 AM until 2 PM. BLFG caught 3 macks and I caught 1. He started out with a pup in the 1 to 2 pound range. We put that in the live well. His second mack was a 14 pound hog.[/#800000]

[#800000]A very nice looking fish indeed. This one went back in the lake.[/#800000]

[#800000]While BLFG was playing tug of war with that 14 pounder, I was speed reeling in my line to get it out of the way and wham – I had a nice 1 to 2 pound pup on. We had a double going. Mine came to the net first and in the live well he went.[/#800000]

[#800000]Scott’s last fish was maybe an 8 to 10 pounder that was tagged with tag number 6468. Scott thinks he may have tagged that fish several years ago as their current tag numbers are in the 11,000 plus range. You can see the details on this fish in his post on our adventure. Notice the tag showing against the top fin in this picture.[/#800000]

[#800000]The day was a great day to be on the lake. The lake was calm all day and the sun came out about 11 AM and warmed things up to around 50 by the time we quit.[/#800000]

[#800000]Thursday and Friday turned out to be a complete bust for me. Nada; nothing; no fish. So Friday evening, I called my son-in-law and had him go by Anglers Inn for some flat fish in some different colors than what I had been using. Lance set him up with 4 and he brought them up for our Saturday outing.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]We trolled for about 6 hours and each got to catch and land one fish each. His was the biggest fish he has ever caught. It was a very nice 7 pound Mack and he was very happy. Here’s the picture.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]

[#800000][/#800000]
[#800000]I caught a 2 pounder that turned out to be a comedy of errors. I was trolling two lines myself. I snagged up the long line and turned the boat around to go back and un-snag it. It wouldn’t come undone. I did notice it was tangled up with the downrigger line. While snapping and pulling the line, it broke. I set it down and picked up the other rod to reel it in and then noticed I had a fish on it. But it was also hung up on the bottom. We finally got the boat and fish close enough together that we could get the fish in the net. We lifted the fish towards the boat and the second line broke. But guess what; we got both lures back in the net. As I said; a comedy of errors.[/#800000]

[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]That was it for the day. We kept fishing for a couple more hours, but no other fish wanted to play.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]All in all, a fun week for me. A very nice end to the boat fishing season. Now it’s on to some serious duck hunting while I wait for ice on.[/#800000]

Nice report Bob, I guess I'm just bad luck when it comes to fishing the big blue lake[:/]. That is two times in a row for me to go up to the lake and not catch a fish. Oh well, at least I learned some more info on trolling the lake. By the way, isn't that store called Anglers Den?
