[inline coco.jpg]Speckled Trout, cynoscion nebulosus. Also known as specks, yellow mouth, white fang or sea trout. 25 per angler per day. Average size 2-4lbs. We like catching doubles on shad rigs. However, topwater is the most addictive method. Amazingly enough, every time I use a rig with and artificial lure on top, and say a live shrimp on the bottom, the trout go after both. No kidding. My favorite spots are in Cocodrie, and Grand Isle.

That is what I though but coming from a freshwater trout state, when someone says trout I don't think of sea trout, LOL.
A 7 lb sea trout is a big one no matter if it is freshwater or saltwater trout . Thanks for sharing your picture, looks like a lot of fun. WH2
