A friend and I got to Deer creek at 7:10 and it seemed colder then it really was..

The water was 51, and we could see deer on the hill sides as we worked our lures..

We fished along the bank from the Iland boat ramp to rainbow bay with out a bite..Then we hit Walbrerg and still no fish and very few marked the graff...

We then went to the train side and worked along that shore till we found one spot and picked up one bow at 14"...

At 10:30 we headed for Jordanelle in hopes of better fishing...We hit a few points with no luck and no marks on the graff, we ran up the rock cliff arm and worked some of the water by the wakeless buoy and back in to the river mouth no fish..

Then we headed back up to the north end and found a few fish Rick got a 17" bow so we kepted working the shore looking for the bass...At 4:30 we headed for the ramp, and I was thinking of the skunk I was getting...

As Rick was going up to get my truck I made a cast on the boat ramp and pick up a bass (thank you Jordanelle) and got read of the skunk then I made one more cast in the same place and picked up a bow at 15"...

For me it was a long and very slow day....

Probably saw you there at Jordanelle. I was in the leigh toon motoring around rock cliff. Glad you were able to catch something. I was able to pull in one bow around 16" but that was it. Definately a slow day.

Hey Cliff,
I think it is the full moon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Playing games with the fishing on and off then back on
I personally hate fishing with a full moon and on top of that
no clouds at all !!!!!!!!!
the fish are feeding at night. [:/]
