]hi lonefish i have a leigh 8' foot kickboat with an electric motor and a fish finder on it and i really like it. It was very expensive the kickboat was $800.00 and with the other options it is now up to $1600.00. that's alot of money. I like it because i sit up out of the water and only my feet are in the water, but when the wind is blowing it sometimes gets hard to control. I started out with a round float tube and i still have and use it once in a while, but if i were you i would not get a round float tube because they are very hard to get in and out of. I have seen a float tube that cost a little more and it is called a fat cat and i think that you sit up out of the water more i hope that this helps you out if not write me a private message trfishin

JMO, you can pick-up a really decent kickboat at SW for around $325.00 (the less expensive ones there have a "funky" oar setup). They are private labeled by SW but by all indications - boat itself and the packaging - I'm positive it's an Outcast boat. I have one of each and they're identical. I'll never go bach to tubes except for remote fishing. The other great thing about k-boats, waist high waders are PERFECT.
Because of this, I have a Buck's Top Gun round float tube I'll sell you cheap!!! Keeping my two u-boats for walk-in fishing.

Hey wades2deep i will be using Xmans round tube at the perch party to see how I like the round style. I will let you know on the week after the 2nd of august if I'll take it off your hands. Unless you have a buyer go ahead and sell it. I want to try each style out vbefore I buy one.
GOOD FISHIN TO YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
