Oh ya! I now what you mean. I think right after I get out of work. I will load up the kids and head down to the lake and do a little swimming and fishing. nothing better then grabing a chair sitting down in the water and do some fishing. Last Saturday we did that and we ended up with 10 good size crappies and 6 good size gills. I did hook into a nice norther for about 2 minutes before those theeth cut the line. My daughter caught 2 bass that were 3lbers (20inches plus) My boy caught only one bass and that was a good 2lber. We let all the bass go.

i'm gonna walk across the road for the first time this year and catch a little brookie or two .

i was up on the manistee for the weekend , upper manistee campground . darn bueatiful spot for the trout and for some family camping . i know you would love it . i'm headed over to the west side near ludington this friday for a four day trip . the boss won't let me take my vacation all at once so i have to split it up here and there .

you think if i was that valuable to the company they would show it in the old paycheck , lol ! oh well , at least i can afford bait !

your kids have my bass beat hands down , i can't seem to break above a fifteen incher !

Yup the manistee campgrounds are great. I have been there 10 or so times in my life time. When we go up there for the salmon/steelhead runs we camp out down near the tunk hole in wellston. The lake that we fish is a private lake and it isn't fished much. A 2-3lbers are very commom, but have not seen a 5lber yet. counting the minutes til 5:00 so I can go wet a line.
