Andy and I got on the water around 10:00 a.m. and fished shallow the whole day. We used shallow cranks, blades, spoons, topwaters, and a shakeyhead. We caught 25-30 fish but the keepers were few and far between. We concentrated on shallow points. The lack of wind hurt the bite today. Oftentimes the water was slick as glass but still a a fabulous day to be out. Water temps were 59 degrees early but warmed into the 63-64 degree range.
