[#000000]Has anyone caught a Tiger Trout at Flaming Gorge? The 2008 stocking report for the DWR shows that they put in about 60,000 in the lake. I was just wondering if any of you guys have caught any of them?[/#000000]

Thats going to make things interesting. Maybe they will start munching the burbot fry.

Hey Guideman, I heard something about that they was going to but never heard no more about it ,
I have not heard if anyone has caught any or not,
But it makes you wonder why they would even want to introduce the tigers in the gorge in the first place ????

Going over the Utah DWR stocking records it shows that Tiger Trout were planted twice since 2002. The first time was 6-18-08 with 43,191 tigers 3.37" long. The second time was 7-30-08 with 9,000 planted average size 4.49". I'm pretty sure most of my bait at the Burbot Bash last year was bigger then that.

Yes I think you are right all my bait is alot bigger than that also hahahah
so that would mean they are feeding the macks then.
I've even been catching the bows up there with 5 and 6" minnows in them so that sound like that is where they are going then in the macks and the bows and whatever browns that there is left in there oh and the S/M also!!!!!!!
That would mean we are paying for a feeding program right hahahahah. [
