I have been doing some fishing up along the Mirror Lake Highway and the other day a friend was asking me about the fees up there. I relayed the information but then I was thinking, do you need a pass just to drive through or is that only if you are planning on parking and hiking or fishing or camping or what have you? I don't know for sure.

Yea, if you park you pay, even to go to a bathroom, driving through is the only reason not to pay.

How's the snow level up there now a days. I would guess there would be some 6" by now and frozen lakes in the early am?
