Fished Sandy Beach about four weeks ago. Not much success, got a few good hits on a 3" curly tailed jig junebug color. Wondering if anyone has had any recent success chasing the Wall E's? Anyone interested in chasing the walleye let me know. Be happy to have a fellow fisherman along.

Hey there,

We hit the L-beach area on wed of last week and picked up some small (12") eyes along with 2 whities...also small. They were caught trolling way way way slow with a pink sonar on the front setting and 2" twister tails tandum rigged and a pink jig head custom made by a tubular friend. We only fished for 2 hours in the evening due to the cold. I want to go hit it again this saturday if weather permits...this could be one of the last open water times i will get. If you want to go anyother time during the week, I will make time in and would love to share some water and tips. Shoot me a PM and we will set it up!!

Hey Shawn,
I am free to go any morning or night any day of the week up until Friday. I'm headed down to fish lake on friday but would love to get any walleye fishing I can in before the freeze. I really, really want to get out and try this fish light I got sometime this week! Let me know if Mon,Tues,Wed,or Thurs night work for you. I usually have a my in law's boat to use but its winterized. What do you usually do, wade our or use a boat. Either way I fine with, I just want to get a couple good walleye asap!
