I am so excited to ice fish I went down to utah lake to jig off some docks that I usually fish during the ice season. Fishing was pretty slow. Not as good as it usually is during the winter. However there were a few fish in there. I ended up with 10 or so white bass 4 crappies and 3 bluegill. I am excited about all the crappie I have been catching the last few years. Still no slabs though. The ones I caught yesterday were about 7-8"s not bad but hopefully they will get bigger. The bluegill were pretty nice though. Nice and fat. Crappies and gills came off of a grey 2" curly tail tipped with worm. All white bass came off of bottom pounding red sonar jigs. I was fishing in 5ft of water.
