So, in doing my research into the evolution of the Outcast float tubes, I came across some mention of the "Fat Cat 66".

Anyone know what this is?

Here's a link to where Outcast sells the bladder:

Also, it's mentioned here:

The tube in the review looks like a stretch version - is it my eyes or does anyone else think so?

Anyone own one of these?

If you were to find a Fat Cat 66 It would be around 10 or 11 years old. I have one that I have been using since the Fall of 1999. I bought a modern Fat Cat to replace it but my original blue Fat Cat 66 is still going strong. It doesn't have the tough black PVC protection on the front of the pontoons and it has two bladders. It also lacks the seatback pouches of the new models. Other than those improvements the design is relatively unchanged. My 2008 Fat Cat has only one large bladder for both pontoons.

But yours is rounded on the ends...the one Shig has DOES have the points like the new. I will see if I can find a picture of my Hubby's.

The add says it is 60" and in the catalog it says a SFC is 64" and 5 1/2' long, well, 5' 4" at any rate.
Do they still make a FAT CAT?

Oh, BTW FG, they still make the foam seat Fat Cat tubes.

I am sure they do, I have even seen replacement foam for them.
I like the inflatable now though.
I do know there will be a new kid/tube on the block for 2010.
Going to be a little more money, but you ARE going to get what you pay for[Wink]

Just waiting for word if I can tell more.[Tongue]
