We went by Koosharem Reservior at 4:30 yesterday afternoon on the way back from our elk hunt. It was completely skinned over with ice, it had not opened at all in the afternoon. We did not stop to check out the thickness.
I know there's not much in there now after the low water last year, but Otter Creek can't be far behind!
C'mon ice!

Hello Jim
How did you do on the elk? I always liked the sherm to hit first when I lived down there. To load up on fresh chub meat. Then I would vacuum seal them all cut up for winter fishing. Don't be surprised if you hit a five pounder first ice.( Not five pound chub either.) Thanks Pikeman GoFish

Hey Glen, Got my cow first thing in the morning then rode around all day with my buddy while he kept missing. It's pretty entertaining when the pressure is off you!
Yeah, I keep thinking there's probably a few monster Cutts knocking around in there. If any made it through the low water last year, they'd have to be pigs by now. Last spring it wasn't much more than a mud hole though. Still a good spot to stock up on chub meat. It didn't get near as low this year.
