After an OK morning at Henrys; we iced 8 near the county boat ramp area, my son and I decided to go to Island Park and try it out. The ice is bad in my opinion 1 inch of ice followed by an inch of water followed by 2.5 inches of ice. It just looked bad to, so we decided to stay close to shore in five feet of water near the dam. Iced one 14' bow, and missed two in three hours of fishing. Best time was from 2:00-2:30. I know I will have to at least give it to Saturday before I go out any further.
