We got a late start because my dad had to take my little sister to the airport. (He needs to get his priorities straight [] ) We arrived at the lake at 1:00 p.m. The roads were good, the ice was 8-9 in. thick. We fished just over 3 hours and between the four of us, caught 151 fish. We would have caught more, but missed alot of bites. We were catching 6 oz. fish, and my dad was setting the hook like we were at the Bassmaster classic! [laugh] Two tigers, one brook trout, 7 or 8 albinos and the rest were bows.

I took my daughter ice fishing while my wife fought with the crazies for the $20 dvd players. I think I fished your lake because there were fresh tracks and between me an my daughter caught about 50. Nothing over 12" but did catch a 1/2 dozen goldens and brookies to keep things interesting between bows. Drove by a bunch of the roadside lakes and no one had been out on them yet. We had the lake to ourselves all morning did not see another soul. Great place to take the kids to for some fast fishing good way to kick off my ice season!
