Put in at MCP at about 8:30 this morning. My objective was Largemouth, but ended up catching fish that I had never caught before. I went under the road that goes between HWY 41 and the Interstate and fished the banks. I was using a rattle trap and caught several Yellow Perch, thats according to pics I found on the internet, along with several Largemouth, the best been between 2.5 and 3 pound. Went back to MCP at about 2:30 and found them in schools along the moss lines where I picked up several more Largemouth along with a mix of Striped Bass and hybrid Strip. This is the first year in about thirty years of fishing the Nick that I have caught Strip above the dam. I wonder if others are catching them. All in all a good day but somewhat unusual for me.
