Did anybody fish scofield today? Thanks in advance.

Went up there this morning got on the Ice at 10 am fished until 12:30, Ice between 3 to 4 inches alot of soft spots.
Fishing was fast from the minute I walked on until I left fished in about 6 to 10 ft water by the dam. Used a Gitzit minnow tipped with wax worm and nightcrawlers only caught Tigers and some cutts lost two nice ones at the hole. I am going to go up again in the morning!

Fishing was definetly fast and furious, but between 5 of us, I think there were 4 fish landed over the 12 inch mark. Tons of small tigers and bows. I managed the"big fish"at a hair over 17 inch rainbow. My wife did have one break her line that I saw was about 18 or 19 inches, but you really gotta have patience and plenty of bait to weed through all the little ones. We even walked across some see-through ice in about 5 feet of water. We could see the bottom, and hundreds of 6-8 inch trout coming by in schools.

fish it the 26th and 27th. caught as many as we wanted both days by the dam. nothing over 14". trying to figure out where anything bigger is in this lake??
4-5" of ice, not scary, but you do need to avoid some spots.

The ice was really poping today, and had the ice Crack 2 times right through my feet, A bit intimidating but it was safe, it just makes you pucker up a bit. Still awhile till the main lake is fishable though!

Yes the ice was noisy.. popping and groaning.. good thing we were catching them like gangbusters or I would have not liked that

Fishing was indeed, as another has put it, fast and furious for lots of small rainbows. They came by in schools so there were slow periods marked by frequent bursts of incredible fishing. My sonar screen was absolutely coverered during those times. I fished 4 hours, got close to 40 fish. fishon2 and his two kids had close to 90 fish when I left. The ice is plenty thick in the dam arm, elsewhere it is very thin and sketchy.
