Anyone fishing in East Idaho other than ice? I have been below PaliSades Dam a few times with marginal success. Just wondering if there has been any catching anywhere else, like maybe the South Fork, or the main channel of the snake? Also on a side note I am new here, but have been lurking for a while. Glad to be here, and thanks in advance for any reports.

Welcome to BFT Idaho. I haven't done anything but ice fish for a couple of weeks. I imagine the stockers are still going strong up by the Ashton bridge.

That is pretty much what I had in mind. Last winter was my return to fishing after a ten year hiatus, and I seemed to do pretty well in the cold. I really liked fishing the South Fork when it was really low. Hopefully this year will be as much fun. Thanks for the welcome and the advice guys.

Went by the Ashton bridge on Hwy 20 and the river is solid flow ice both directions. I was hoping to get out there before it filled up.
