Launched at 1st Point at about 9:30am. Headed up to 2nd Point to fish. Fishing was so-so for the first couple of hours, then it turned on and two of us limited out on whitefish. We caught several smaller fish and turned them back. Then we moved out to about 55' of water and caught some cutthroat. One fish was almost 4 lbs and the others were about 2-3lbs.

The WF were hitting jigs tipped with crawlers, but we did better on 1/8 oz. roadrunners (Thanks Pat!) in bright yellow and glow white with very small blades. The fish wanted an aggressively jigged lure and nightcrawlers definitely helped. We caught most of our fish in about 7' of water, but ranged from 5' to 10'.

The cutts we caught on 4" tubes in 3/4 oz. weight tipped with cisco. We used white, green, and red and all worked for the cutts. When Ol Coot and Wildcat94 caught their limit, we moved over the pumphouse for a little while and had no hits. We left about 2:30, but Coot headed over the rockpile. Not sure how they did over there, but I bet they will post. Sorry no pics. My camera didn't want to work in the cold temps today.
Great day on the water with no wind to speak of.

[cool][#0000ff]Sorry I had to back out on the trip. Glad you got some fish...and that I might have contributed a bit. I had a bunch of new stuff I wanted to try. Maybe next week.[/#0000ff]
