[]in it's solid form,4" thick.12/5/09 the usual first ice on the Berry spot,Mudcreek. But before you get yourself all excitted. I,maaaaybe, had 6 fish pass under my flasher and only 1 stole a wax worm from me. Now I did sleep in and didn't get there until the worst time of day 11:00 and fished through what is usually the slowest time to fish 1:30. Tried 3 different spots 18',22',15'

I seen you crazy buggers in there fishing the ice I was out in Mud Creek Bay in the old green boat it was cold up there today.

Windy almost lost my chair,blowing away. But nice and sunny the whole time.
when I showed up, there was a father and son who had been shore fishing somewhere else on the lake came down to see those crazy guys on the lake,so I talked them into walking out on the ice with me and taught them how to ice fish,too bad the fish didn't cooperate. I think they still had fun because they were talking about buying an auger.
