This years waterfowl season started slow, with only 16 ducks the first two months! I was disappointed, but things have changed with the recent freeze [
] I have had some pretty cool experience's the last week. All the ducks and two geese have been shot in northern utah. The two geese belong to my buddy and one had a band on it. The goose was banded in june of 2007. No banded ducks not a surprise. Have seen alot of mallards starting to stack up on rivers around. The thing i've learned is expect the unexpected and scout your hunting grounds and you'll get what you deserve. [
] The picture of the small open water is what is left of the open water at harol crane. Was lucky enough to shoot two pheasant and 5 quail this year also. And one of my buddys shot the fox. Enjoy the pictures. Thanks duckduckgoose
