I saw this article, and was amazed that it was all east coast stuff. Well, Texas isn't east coast, but you know... Im disappointed that this stuff is so far away.
The west coast has been on the forefront of kayak fishing. People have been tackling pacific ocean fishing from kayaks for decades now.
Why don't I start my own NV kayak fishing club?!?!
That's it guys... I'm gonna do it.
If I started a local kayak fishing club, dedicated to the art of kayak fishing, where we could get together and fish- say one day a month, for some friendly competition,
WOULD YOU GUYS JOIN ME?
We could do tourneys here at Mead, and also take trips down to mohave or havasu a couple times a year.
Kayak fishing is awesome and cheap!

I second it! I'm in, but let's call it art of kayak angling AKA.

[cool]Your right Whizzle! I have surfed all kinds of websites dedicated to kayak fishing on the west coast. I have met some of the guys at the tackle shows in Long Beach. There should be a club here in the desert southwest for fishing the "desert lakes"(Mead,Mohave,Havasu, and Powell). I think the idea is great and I'm in(as soon as I can afford a kayak;which will be soon).
