well we put in at 730 and to my surprise was 5 other nutcases there with us .. It was cold steering cables were froze hands were froze it was just cold. Line guides froze all morning long..Went up towards the dam and stayed there 80% of the day.. starting catching fish within 5 mins and we never stopped caught over 60 fish.. mainly spots 3 or 4 smallies and a few largemouth.. almost every spot was 1 1/2 lbs or more some good big fat spots.. About 1 hour into the day I had my jig just thumped hard! Bout yanked it from my hand.. After a short fight i horsed him in the boat.. I knew he was big but i was thinking around 4 lbs... Later in the day meet up with Erik(bass15) and borrowed his scales.. The spot went 4 lb 10 oz topping my pb my a mere few ounces. Never dreamed of catching two spots this big in one season.. He was a pig he even spit up a carcass of a fish in the boat that was about 9 inches long.. He had been eating well.. Caught one other one that was around 3 also... They are on fire right now.. anything that looked like a crawfish worked today.. thats about all we threw
Water temp was between 47-50 degrees and 6 spillgates were open.. Love that current!!
PIG!

http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
Nice 3 lber
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341....jpg
PIG Again!
http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341...091255.jpg
