i fish lake livingston and lake conroe sometimes so what type of bait would be good to use right now?

if you are going with live bait, and you are targeting bass or other pan fish, I would sugest a fat juicy cricket or a slithery leach.

both are deadly on bass and gill family.

if you like bow fin (dowg fish) a frog on a hook is killer.
