Are you talking about Woodruff Narrows, outside of Evanston? What do you normally pull out of there? I've been a couple of times because I heard there are tiger musky there, but have never had much success for anything.
Thanks-

I Think he was at Woodruff creek res. I think the Tiger Muskey @ the Narrows have run their course. I talked with the water master this summer, he said they shocked the narrows to see what was in there, 1800 lbs of fish floated up, and not a single trout. They were all Trash fish. There is trout above and below the Res. so I would think there would be a few, but not enough to make a trip out of it. Hope that helps

I was on Woodruff last Friday with a bunch of new icefishers and the fishing was pretty good. Several people put limits of 14-18" cutts on the ice. The bite is light but very doable. We were off the water by 1:30 pm. The ice was 9".
The road has packed snow on it but we all drove right to the shoreline. I'm sure there is a lot more snow on it after yesterday. It was -18 degrees when we got there and 5 degrees when we left.
