I decided to head to Mantua in the morning. It sound like it is better fishing and easier access.

I might hit pelican tomorrow. I would have gone today but diddnt want to drive in the snowstorm. As pikeman said in his post the storm hit hard out in the area. It would be worth the drive tomorrow. I will fish from first light till about 2 pm. If starvation was safe I would try there and see about a guy and a walleye.
About fishing utah lake for walleye this winter, I am in. Maybe willard too,and especially Deer creek. I really need to catch a walleye off the ice this year. I will have lots of free time after christmas and will be looking daily for people to fish with. Let me know.
