I wish they would do closer to town to see what is in there.

I can personally say there are walleye in the Jordan. I caught my first walleye in the jordan about 5 yrs ago near west valley. He took a Kastmaster under a bridge.

I grew up about a block from the Jordan and 5300s. My brother and a buddy and I would spend EVERY day durring the summers fishing under the bridge and up and down the river from the over pass. From the 5300s bridge areathe following are the species that I personaly saw caught or caught myself(that I can remember). White bass(also caught one out of the tiny stream in Murray park by the ice skating rink), Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, Catfish(Bull-head and Channel I believe??). And of course the bell of the ball the Jordan river Carp. I even caught an big albino one that we could see from the top of the bridge. I still think this river would make an good brown trout fishery. But even today would require a LOT of work.
