Took my 3 .5 year old son down to Utah lake this mourning and caught some gills, sunfish, and a perch. Nothing of size but is was fun getting a line wet.

That's what it's all about right there! There is no better feeling than putting a like that on your kids face. My father passed away when I was a young boy, I was 7 years old. I don't have a lot of memories of him, but I do remember going fishing with him. Good on you for taking your son. The memories will last a lifetime.

I left about 10 minutes after you left. The fish was biting the whole time at that hole and it showed alot of fish on the bottom on the sonar. Too bad the bite wasn't like that earlier in the morning[frown]
